ACUPUNCTURE & TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE:  Acupuncture is the most often practiced component of TCM, yet it is merely one important piece of an effective healthcare approach. We believe wholeheartedly in the power and effectiveness of acupuncture itself; yet, Traditional Chinese Medicine encompasses other methods designed to help patients achieve and maintain health when called for. Along with acupuncture, we can integrate any of these techniques in your treatment to help you reach your balanced wellness goals:  herbal medicine - massage techniques - tui na & gua sha - moxibustion - nutritional counseling & supplements - cupping therapy - functional medicine approaches including metabolic assessment & lab work analysis - lifestyle counseling - qigong - essential oil acupoint therapy (AAT Certified & trained practitioner).

Cupping Therapy has been used for thousands of years as a healing treatment for back pain, injury recovery, colds & flu, and providing calming relief for such accompanying symptoms. Benefits of cupping include relief of pain, congestion, clearing stagnation and deficiency and promoting healing. Recently, you may have seen many Olympic athletes making use of cupping therapy to relieve strains, treat soft tissue injury and musculo-skeletal issues, and to enhance performance and aid in the healing of sports injuries.

Bruce has been working and volunteering with Veterans through the Stand Down events sponsored by the VA and the Mindful Warrior Project for a number of years. He's successfully treated these affiliated patients for various issues including stress, pain management, substance dependency, gastrointestinal problems, and sleep disorders.

In addition to having specialized training concentrations in Classical Nei Jing Style Acupuncture, Korean Style Acupuncture Techniques and Five Element Acupuncture, he has enjoyed enhanced clinical experience treating patients at the West Hollywood Being Alive Clinic and the Roy & Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center in Burbank, CA. At the 2015 World Special Olympics Games, Bruce was honored to help provide wellness services to the international athletes and coaches at the Healthy Athletes Village Center. He recently volunteered in the 2017 Our House Grief Support Center Run for Hope event, where he provided auricular acupuncture to the participants and their families.
